I’m playing in Adrift mode with a moderate amount of feedback… When I hit “purge”, I expect to zero out the delay lines, but some echos persist. Is this a bug or something?

I have noticed it as well. You need several consecutive presses until it is purged completely.
It looks like you need to press it as much as there are delay lines or delay amounts (or something). Like the feedback is re-entering the sound back into in the purged buffer or something.
