Double Triggering

Hi! So I absolutely love my Tri-Ger, but there is ONE thing…

When recording a pattern, it sometimes sends a triggering pulse when I LET GO of the button.

I understand different modules have different trigger thresholds but I’m wondering if I need to install a decoupling cap or attenuate the outputted gate signals.

Am I the only one?

I’m glad to hear you love your Tri-ger.

What you’re experiencing sounds like bouncing of the switch. You can mitigate this somewhat by being mindful when releasing the button.
The more time spent in between high and low states will increase the likelihood of a false trigger.
